Who we are
Alphabet Kids International Preschool is a multicultural, multi-lingual school that harnesses children's natural ability to learn and grow.
While developing each child's individuality, they are surrounded by English every day and play in a fun space. During the important developmental ages of 3 to 6, they will discover a big world with big possibilities. English speaking teachers will assist your child as they learn and grow in a multi-lingual learning environment.

About AKI...
The Beginning
Alphabet Kids was started by two mothers who wanted a high quality English preschool for their own children to attend, herein Chikuma City where they lived that their children could attend.
We opened in April 2018 as an unlicensed facility and have been supported by many people as a rare international nursery school in this rural area. It has been eight years since the children and we have grown up at the nursery!

To provide a warm, loving, and safe space where children can learn and grow in English.

A day at AKI
Regular preschool activities such as walks, water play, lunches, toothbrushing, and naps are mixed in with activities such as circle time, show and tell, dancing, and worksheets, things a bit more unique to an international preschool.
We are here to support international families who are raising a family here in Japan.
