Alphabet Kids Enrollment
Alphabet Kids is open to all children, regardless of race, nationality, or place of residence.
We accept enrollment applications year round, including transfers from other schools.

Childcare use
Educational use of our preschool is from 8:30 to 12:30, Monday through Friday. The core curriculum and main activities take place during this time. Extended afternoon is care is available upon request.
Applications are submitted directly to and approved through the school.
Child care use is available to the children of working parents. 8:30am to 4:30pm is the standard care hours, with extended hours available pending work schedule. (max 7:30am-6:30pm) Childcare designations are given through the city and enrollment applications must also be approved through them. Applications are available at the Alphabet Kids office and our staff will be happy to assist with filling them out.

We can respond in both Japanese and English, so please feel free to contact us.
Tour the facility ! Individual tours are available during lessons from 9:15 to 10:00 (weekdays), but we also accept tours at other times and on weekends upon request. Please feel free to see the school and consider whether it is a good fit for your child☺︎
If you have children under the age of 18, we also recommend that you participate in the parenting support class Mommy and Me. For details, please click the link below.
Attend the admission briefing session . You will be given the necessary documents and information on what to bring.
In 2025, the sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, July 15th from 9:30 to 10:30 (maximum 5 people), Tuesday, August 19th (maximum 5 people), and Saturday, August 30th from 10:00 to 11:00. Please apply by email.
The last step is to submit the necessary paperwork . Please fill out the form for the certification you wish to receive and bring it directly to the nursery school.
Applications for Type 1 certification for the 2026 fiscal year will begin on Monday, September 1st. For Type 2 certification, please check with the childcare department of the city or town where you are staying.
