Alphabet Baby opened in 2021, to primarily serve the younger siblings of Alphabet Kids. It is a small-scale daycare facility for children between ages 1 and 3 years old, requiring childcare. 19 children capacity.

A day at ABI

Standard hours are 8:30am-4:30pm (extended care available from 7:30am-6:30pm)

Morning snack, circle time, walk, lunch, nap, afternoon snack, free play. The Japanese and English teachers work as a team and care for your child's every day needs.

Becoming familiar with English

They enjoy learning English through circle time, reading aloud, singing, dancing, etc. They also grow in a natural English environment listening to English instructions given by teachers throughout the day.

We can respond in both Japanese and English, so please feel free to contact us.

Tour the facility ! Individual tours are available during lessons from 9:15 to 10:00 (weekdays), but we also accept tours at other times and on weekends upon request. Please feel free to see the school and consider whether it is a good fit for your child☺︎

If you have children under the age of 18, we also recommend that you participate in the parenting support class Mommy and Me. For details, please click the link below.

Attend the admission briefing session . You will be given the necessary documents and information on what to bring.

In 2025, the sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, July 15th from 9:30 to 10:30 (maximum 5 people), Tuesday, August 19th (maximum 5 people), and Saturday, August 30th from 10:00 to 11:00. Please apply by email.

The last step is to submit the necessary documents . Application procedures and deadlines for licensed daycare centers vary depending on the local government, so please contact your local municipality. (Chikuma City usually accepts applications for the new school year from the end of September to early November.)
